This search performs an exact search on only the submitted string, performed on the
start of the part number. For example, "123abc" will match/find '123abc45678', but not 'xy123abc'.
Therefore, if you have a long part number, you may want to search the first 8 or so characters initially and then
expand the characters to fine tune the result set.
